The first stop on our May, 2013 Bahamas cruise was in Freeport. Our excursion for the day was called the Western Heritage & Snorkel Tour, and it was awesome! We got to see so much of the area and learn about the history!
Pinder’s Point Lighthouse- Our first stop was at the candy cane-striped lighthouse that was in use during the 17th century. We were able to wander along the beach and enjoy the views.
Josey Cave- This cave, located in Holmes Rock, has been used by local residents to escape hurricanes. It is also a source for fresh water.
