Punch Bowl Social is an upscale bowling alley and restaurant in downtown Portland located on the 3rd floor of Pioneer Place Mall.
Bowling here was so much fun. The bowling lanes are broken into different sections offering a much more private experience than what you would find at a regular bowling alley. When we went we had a whole little section to ourselves. The only issue any of us had with bowling here was that there were no bumpers on the lanes we were at. And with kids, you kind of need bumpers or they get all upset when they throw nothing but gutter balls. The good news is I know when booking for next time to stick to lanes the other 8 lanes, all of which have bumpers! Rookie mistake!

Punch Bowl Social has several private karaoke rooms with a couple of couches. My kids sang their hearts out. (Well, not Noah. He apparently hates karaoke.)
There are tons of food options including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stuck to happy hour appetizers when we went. Everything we ordered tasted great and I would recommend any of it. We ate in the area next to our bowling lanes. They do have a large dining room for those that are looking just to eat here. And, I should mention that they participate in Portland’s annual dining month during March each year.

They’ve just opened up a brand new swanky patio set up on the two outdoor terraces which is a top spot to watch the upcoming popular Starlight Parade and Grand Floral Parade during the Rose Festival celebrations.
